Mars Bar Slice Easter Nests
Ingredients
Base
4 Mars Bars, chopped
90g Butter, chopped
2 and a half cups Rice Bubbles
Toppings
100g Milk Chocolate, Melted
Easter Eggs (I used the Cadbury Mini Eggs)
Method
Melt the butter & mars bars (don’t boil it) in a saucepan or metal bowl over boiling water.
(The trick here is to turn the heat off when it starts to bubble and is nearly melted and then keep mixing it until it melts and becomes thick and mallowy - it will look like it is separating, but if you keep on stirring it, it eventually mixes in and thickens up).
Take off the heat and mix in the rice bubbles.
Spoon about a tablespoon of the rice bubble mixture into each hole of a silicone mini muffin pan. Use a teaspoon to indent each of the nests and gently push the sides up.
Drizzle the centre of each nest with the melted chop and add your mini Easter eggs.
Pop in the fridge for at least an hour to chill.
